Salad Plate

This porcelain salad plate is Mud Australia's smaller side plate with a flared rim. It is perfect for salads, starters, or desserts. The lip helps contain sauces. It sits nicely with all of Mud's dinner plates. All of their serveware is handmade in their studio in Sydney, Australia.

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and should be embraced.

CARE:

Mud porcelain is food-safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (e.g., from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your porcelain. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.

Ideally, your mud porcelain will be stored in plate racks or with linen/felt between each item to avoid glaze scratches. Please note: Ink, orange, plum, red, and slate porcelain are expensive colours and trickier to produce, hence the higher item price.
