The PEFC is the world's largest forest certification system, seeking to transform how forests are managed globally and locally to ensure that all can enjoy the environmental, social, and economic benefits of forests.

Wood is one of nature's finest and most versatile renewable materials. Trees take care of us by taking carbon and releasing oxygen into the air. At the same time, they help prevent global warming.

PEFC certification also guarantees that new trees are replanted immediately after felling. Today, northern forests are growing faster than they are felled.
