Absorbent double woven 100% linen towel. Design by Elisa Defossez, inspired by "komorebi."
HOHTO (shine, glow in Finnish) is inspired by soft sunlight leaking through trees, also commonly called "Komorebi" in Japanese. The stripe pattern reminds one of the multiple rays of light through the leaves, but it also could remind one of the rhythm of trees in forests.
Washed linen doesn't necessarily need ironing; small wrinkles are allowed and even desired! Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin. It's very absorbent and dries very fast, making it an excellent material for towels.
This 100% washed linen was wash-treated during its production process, which is why it delivers outstanding absorption capacity.
ORIGIN:
MATERIAL:
This product is made out of 100% linen. Ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa, and it is traceable 100% European Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. All yarns are spun and dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfill the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.
CARE:
Wash separately at 60°C in plenty of water. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. We recommend a small amount of neutral washing powder to reshape while damp. Avoid softener and bleach. Do not tumble dry. Slow spin cycle. Linen fibers may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. Iron the textile with linen settings. The color of natural linen becomes lighter with washing.
